Wild, Wonderful West Virginia Welcome Centers to Host WV Day Events

Travelers encouraged to stop for entertainment, refreshments, giveaways and more

CHARLESTON, West Virginia — In celebration of the West Virginia’s 153rd birthday on Monday, Welcome Centers around the state will host events for travelers passing through. Food, giveaways, live music, re-enactments, kid’s activities and more will be just part of the day’s festivities. Travelers are encouraged to take photos and share them on social media using #GoToWV.

Refreshments include: Pepperoni rolls, WV birthday cupcakes, doughnuts, coffee, cookies, water, candy and snacks.
