Saw-Whet Owl Banding

Saw-whet owl (NSWO) migration is occurring and a banding station will be in place at Valley Falls State Park. Joey Herron will conduct this surveying program, weather permitting.

Individuals interested in observing and assisting Joey Herron with this activity should dress warmly, bring a flashlight, camera, and a folding chair.

Joey has caught over 300 owls in 11 years, and is hoping for a good year this year.

Attendees will meet at Valley Falls State Park.

Must email or call for reservations. There is limited room each night!
