River House Lodge

The lodge is tucked away in a small town in Cheat Valley 30 miles south of Morgantown. It brings back to life the River House of the early 1900's when Rowlesburg was a great railroad center. Guests walk into a motif of railroading that once dominated the historic town of Rowlesburg--on the Jones-Imboden Civil War Trail. The town is virtually surrounded by Cheat River, great for boating, white water, fishing and swimming. Rowlesburg stands at the crossroads of two National Byways.
