Mountain Lake Campground and Cabins

Summersville, WV

Can you imagine yourself relaxing on the banks of beautiful Summersville Lake while your kids are playing making new friends? Then we invite you to choose from one of our yurts, lakefront campsites or cabins, which is the only lakefront lodging offered on Summersville Lake. We are conveniently located in the Gauley Recreational area and on the banks of Summersville Lake on Airport Road beside the marina.

We have exactly what you are looking for whether you want to be nestled between the trees with privacy or right on the shoreline with your boat tied up by your site. If you’re looking for something to keep you busy then don’t worry! There is plenty to do right at the campground. Don't forget to bring your four-legged family member too because, our campsites are pet friendly - just be sure to read our pet policy first.

If you don’t feel like cooking, no problem! Come enjoy a wonderful meal at our restaurant then pick up a dessert from our snack bar located in our uniquely filled gift shop. We also have an annual Haunted Trail that is sure to be frightfully good! There is also plenty to choose from within a short distance drive from us such as horseback riding, rafting, boat rentals, scuba diving and snorkeling, fishing, rock climbing, hiking and biking, just ask one of our friendly staff members and they will be glad to help you in finding surrounding activities.
