Curtisville Lake offers 695 acres of lush scenery. Around the 30-acre lake there are hiking trails and picnicking. An ADA accessible fishing pier has been added to the lake. The lake is periodically stocked by the Department of Natural Resources and the fishing is good. Activities include: non-motorized boating, hiking, biking, fishing, and leisure activities. Home of the Annual Family Fun Fishing Day each spring on Good Friday.
No swimming is permitted in the lake. No gasoline powered motors are allowed, only electric motors and oars are permissible to power a boat in the lake.
Curtisville Lake is now home to the best campground in Marion County! There are five RV sites and six primitive sites available on a first come, first served basis. Camping is permitted from April 1 through October 31 each year. Check-in is at 1:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Please choose your site and then retrieve an envelope from the pay box. Fill out the envelope, insert the payment in the form of cash or check, and tear off the tag for your vehicle. Seal the envelope and place it in the pay box.
Pets are allowed if they are on a leash and under control at all times. Pets must be cleaned up after and pet waste should be disposed of at pet stations. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms or playground area.
Camping is permitted from April 1 to October 31 of each year.

Directions to Curtisville Lake:
From Fairmont: Take Route 250 North out of Fairmont towards Mannington. When you reach the Town of Mannington, take a left on Main Street, (there are brown signs for Curtisville Lake). Main St. turns into Rt. 1 and passes the Mannington Fair grounds. Stay on Rt. 1 for about 5 miles just past Logansport. Take a left on Curtisville Pike (Rt.7). Go about a mile and the lake is on the left.
