Deckers Creek Trail
Morgantown, WV
A scenic 19-mile rail-trail that joins the Caperton and Mon River Trails in Morgantown, WV. This trail parallels Scenic Byway Route 7 and Deckers Creek from Morgantown to Reedsville, Preston County. In Morgantown, 2.5 miles are paved asphalt with the remaining trail a smooth crushed limestone surface. The trail climbs at 2% grade for a 1,000 feet elevation change. Recreational use includes walking, jogging, cycling and cross-country skiing and in-line skating in city limits.
